About Granite Ridge Veterans Post 4412

We are a post of wartime veterans in Granite Ridge, chartered in 1948. Our members served in every conflict from Vietnam to the present day, and our doors have been open in this town for more than seventy-five years.

What we do

We help veterans file and appeal benefits claims. We render military funeral honors for any veteran whose family asks. We fund scholarships for local students, run a relief fund for members in hardship, and keep a hall that the community uses for everything from union meetings to wedding receptions.

The post home

Our building at 1142 Quarry Road has a canteen, a meeting hall that seats 180, and a kitchen. The canteen is open to members and their guests. The hall is available to rent — contact the Quartermaster.

Meetings

The general membership meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 1900. Any member in good standing may attend, speak and vote. Visitors from other posts are always welcome.
