Am I eligible?
Membership is open to honorably serving and honorably discharged service members who served in a foreign war, campaign or expedition recognised by a campaign medal, or who served in a hostile-fire or imminent-danger pay area.
You qualify if you
- received a recognised campaign medal for overseas service, or
- received hostile-fire or imminent-danger pay, or
- served 30 consecutive or 60 non-consecutive days in Korea.
What to bring
Your DD-214, or equivalent proof of service. The Senior Vice Commander verifies eligibility and can usually tell you within a few minutes whether you qualify. If you are not sure, come in anyway — we would rather check than have you talk yourself out of it.
The Auxiliary
Spouses, parents, children, siblings, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of eligible veterans may join the Auxiliary. The Auxiliary elects its own officers and runs its own programs alongside the post.
