Honor Guard

Our Honor Guard renders military funeral honors for any eligible veteran in the county, at no cost to the family, regardless of whether they were a member of this post.

Requesting honors

A funeral director can make the request, or the family can contact the post directly. We ask for as much notice as you can give, but we have turned out on a day's notice before and we will do it again.

Flag disposal

We conduct a flag retirement ceremony twice a year and accept worn flags at the post at any time. There is a drop box inside the front door.
